The Morning Benders are California's latest Indie Pop Rock sensation. The band consists of frontman Chris Chu (Vocals, Guitars, Keys), Joe Ferrell (Guitars, Keys), Julian Harmon (Drums, percussion) and David Perales (Bass) from Berkley, California.
The quartet brings back the glory of 60s songwriting, with catchy melodies, lots of delayed harmonies, some blaring guitar parts and a tumbling rhythm. Most of the lyrics are about the ups and downs of young romance. They're all masterfully written and never appear tacky or contrived.
